Suzane Jacobs

Suzane Jacobs is the Assistant Principal of Midwood High School, responsible for the supervision of English, English as a Second Language, Special Education and Library Media Services. She is also the Midwood High School Debate Coach, and a twenty-one year veteran of the NYC Department of Education. Her school newspaper, The Midwood Argus, has been informing and connecting the Midwood community since 1941. In addition, Suzane currently serves as President of the New York City Association of Assistant Principals and Supervisors of English. Other DOE responsibilities include: Principals Candidate Pool Evaluator: Office of Leadership, Professional Learning and Continuous Improvement. Other outside activities include: President of the Vermont Street 700 Block Association; Community Partner with the 75th Precinct of the New York Police Department.
