Erin Schneider
Erin Schneider founded Journalism Resource Network to empower schools, nonprofits, and educators in building meaningful media programs. After advising the three-year, award-winning journalism program at Redwood High School in the San Francisco Bay Area, she now dedicates herself full-time to expanding J.R.N.'s impact across the nation. Erin holds a Master's in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's in Journalism from Central Michigan University, where she served on her student newspaper. She's recognized for advocating AI's responsible use in journalism classrooms and media literacy at national and local conventions, and serves in a leadership capacity on the Journalism Education Association of Northern California Board. Outside of work, she enjoys documentary films, hot yoga, mycology, and backpacking.
